Dorothy A Johnson Brandon Sprouse:
● Frank Brandon was working for Sinclair Refinery in Covington, Oklahoma. He was the field boss and he supervised a large crew of men who maintained the gas pipelines that were from the different wells in the oilfield. There were several houses on the land where Frank worked and he and Lillian lived in one of them. Together they moved Frank and Naomi Johnson into the house that was next door to them, so they could look after them. Lillian was a daughter, friend and sister that the family looked up to. She was dependable and trustworthy; She would come when she was needed. This proved true when her brother John Alfred had his stroke and him and his kids were in trouble. She sent her son Leroy with his wife, along with her brother Burton to pick them up when he was calling for her, and with her sister Cora. they brought him back home where he later passed away. Lillian was there for her parents taking care of them until there death, and again when her sis-in-law Ruby passed away, she reached out at the age of 47 with two grown children and a grandchild of her own, she took her seven Month old baby niece, Dolly ( later named Dorothy) and with Frank raised Dorothy as their own. Feeding and clothing her with no financial help, then putting her through school while teaching her the value of love, hard work, and how important that she was.
