Born January 14, 1913 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Rile and Minnie Robinson Chilton.
She was a retired employee of Sykes Carpet in Lawrenceburg and a caregiver for many years.
She was a lifetime member of the Claylick United Methodist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School class.
Survivors include: three daughters, Jeannette Carey and Minnie Morgan, Lawrenceburg, and Nancy (Lewis) Long, Lancaster; four sons, Fred (Kathleen) Coke and Thomas (Charlene) Coke, Lawrenceburg, Bruce (Landa) Coke, Henry County, and Paul (Jeanie) Coke, Spencer County; one sister, Katherine Jeffries, Lawrenceburg; one brother, Linwood (Gertrude) Chilton, Harrodsburg; 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and three great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Buford Lee Coke and Robert Luther Coke; one grandson, Stacy Lamar Coke, two great-grandchildren, Amanda Denise Stansbury and Anthony Carl Peach; two sisters, Elsie Ray Roark, Virgie Onita Chilton, and three brothers, Horace, Melvin and Everett Chilton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg with Bro. David Fralix and Bro. Glenn Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Anderson County.
Visitation from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:00 a.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Buford Lee Coke Jr., Eddie Carey, Dennie Morgan, Darren Coke, Ricky Coke, Kevin Coke, Anthony Coke and Jeff Coke. Honorary bearers will be granddaughters and grandsons.
