JENS ANDERSEN

Funeral services were held Aug. 16, 1972 for Jens Andersen, 69, who passed away Aug. 14 at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. at the age of 69 yrs., 4 months and 9 days.

Services were held at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. Arley Fadness officiating.

Interment was in the Diamond Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Bessie Johansen was the organist, and the congregation sang.

Pallbearers were Ervin Nissen, Carl Tambo, Andrew Sik, Iver Andersen, Merle Hanson and Jorgen Krog.

Jens. C. Andersen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kristen Andersen, was born April 5, 1903 on a farm in Drammen Township. He was baptized and confirmed in Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, of which a member. He had lived on the same farm until he retired in Oct., 1968, whe he moved to Lake Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Andrew.

He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Marie, along with many relatives and friends.
