Mrs. Amanda B. Davis - At 12.05 Saturday morning Mrs. Amanda B. Davis, wife, of S. L. Davis, died at her home, 2311 Beale avenue, of appendicitis. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Clapper, deceased, of Carson Valley and was aged 35 years, 2 months, and 23 days. She was a member of the First Lutheran church and was esteemed in a wide circle of friends. She was survived by her husband and four children. Harry, Jesse, George and Charles, also by three brothers and three sisters. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock this morning. Services at the house. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
