Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Rebecca Campbell, 84, of Carthage, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996 at Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage. The Rev. Doctor Charles Dodson will officiate. Interment will follow in Jimerson's Restland Memorial Park. Arrangements will be under the direction of Jimerson Funeral Home. Mrs. Campbell died Monday, Jan. 1, in a Carthage nursing center.

Born on Nov. 4, 1911 in Alto, La., she was the daughter of Edwin Augusta and Gussie Gertrude Little Boies. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church of Carthage. On August 25, 1933 she married Oscar Alex Campbell in Crowville, La. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1983.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her four sons, Marvin E. Campbell of Kingwood, Texas, Carroll L. Campbell of Hallsville, Texas, Don L. Campbell of Dickinson, Texas, and James R. Campbell of Carthage; three daughters, Erma Reynolds of Eustace, Texas, and Sarah Beth McMillan of Carthage; four sisters, Edna Hewitt of Monroe, La., Odell Burt and Bernice Burnham, both of Cullen, La., and Mable McCormick of Neches, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
