He was raised in Liberty, Missouri and returned to the Polo area after his marriage to Evelyn (Blakely) Wade on December 28th, 1938 where they have lived for 23 years. They moved to the Hamilton community 17 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn of the home and two sons, Thomas David of Gallatin and John Robert (Peggy Lamb) of Hamilton. Seven Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Velma Thomson of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Geneva Taylor of Plattsburg, Mo. One brother, John Swafford of Cowgill, Mo. And a host of other Relatives. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
