FOGLE Robert David, 81, of Midwest City, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22. He was born June 2, 1919, in Sherman, TX, to Thomas and Almeda (Dennis) Fogle. He married Lena Reed Dec. 1, 1945, in Anadarko, OK. Robert raised peanuts in Caddo County in the Spring Creek area for many years. He also owned the DX Station on S. Western in Oklahoma City during the 1960's. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 21 years of service. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lena Fogle, of Midwest City; son, Gene Fogle and wife Sue of Gracemont, OK; daughter, Linda Barker and husband Glenn of Midwest City; daughter, Charlotte Schroeder and husband Ken, Midwest City; son, David Fogle and wife Debbe of Choctaw; and son, Dennis Fogle of Del City; brother, Bill Fogle of OKC; 2 sisters, Janelle Slemp and Marguerite Fullbright, both of Gracemont; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City.
