Daughter of Thomas Barber DeSelms and Mina C. "Minnie" Sholtz. Married Samuel Jasper Thomas October 18 1905 at Union, Stafford, KS and resided on the Thomas Farm located 4 miles southwest of Stafford in Stafford County until about 1917 when they moved into the town of Stafford where her husband died April 14 1918. She continued to live in the Thomas home until her later years. She was living at her son's home in Wichita KS when she died April 24 1950.
Her Children were twins, Jesse E. "Jack" DeSelms and Bessie Inez DeSelms Taylor. Step-Children were: Mabel Nettie Thomas Salmans, Launce Vernon Thomas, Zella Belle Thomas Stricklin, Twins Homer W. and Herbert L Thomas, Clara Mae Thomas Taylor, and Ruth Ada Thomas Sanders (3 other Thomas children had died before her marriage to Samuel Jasper Thomas).
