Unangst Croft, a farmer in Hamilton Twp. Married Mary Magdalena
Coble, b.29 Aug 1792, d. 15 Jan. 1853 and had issue: John; Sarah, b.
ca 1813 m. John Brindle and removed to Indiana, their eldest son
Samuel b. before their removal and remained with grandmother in St.
Thomas Twp.

The Croft Family History of Franklin County, PA, probably written
by Rev. Samuel Croft, MD, about 1905. Says "David located on one of his
father's farms for about six years, where he died of typhoid fever. The widow
and young children [Saloma & John] returned to her parents. The widow later
married Samuel Brindle, the son of Capt. John Brindle of St. Thomas Twp..."

John D. Krafft's (Jr.) name changed from his birth documetation in PA. to Kroft as an adult.

1st Evan Lutheran Cemetery Inscription:
Hier rubet der Lieb des vestorbenen David Kraft er ward gebohren den 7 ten April A.D. 1788 gestorben den 2 ten February A.D. 1819.
