Michael Flome, London, West-End, Bandleader, possibly born in California, but U.K. citizen. Died in a truck accident during the London blackout. Best known recording "Lambeth Walk", by Noel Gay on Brunswick records, 1938. Michael Flome was a private in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Service number, 7393898. Burial at Eat Ham Jewish cemetery in Marlow Road, Block U, grave 12. Memorial recognised by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Michael Flome and his Orchestra were best known for their residency at the Mayfair Hotel, in Berkeley Square, during 1938. He was the son of Harris and Annie Flome and the husband of Victoria.
