On 1 Sep 1883 cabinetmaker Hubert Ignatz Niedecken of Honnef,b 11 Jun 1854 in Honnef, applied for emigration to America with his wife Katharina Niedecken,b Heinz,B 19 Oct 1857 in Weitershag, and daughter Margaretha Niedecken,b 21 Feb 1883.Niedecken now lives [1938?]in Delphos,Ohio,and works as a watchman in an industrial plant.The wife died in Delphos on 15 Dec 1926.The daughter Margaretha died shortly after the voyage to America,as a consequence of malnutrition and bad climatic influence.The Niedeckens had an additinal 8 children in America,some of whom are married and living in Delphos.
