Charles E. Owens, 63, Lucas Ferry Road, died Friday in the Athens-Limestone county Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in McConnell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery with McConnell in charge. The Rev. Irvin Watson and Rev. Burl Grubbs will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean P. Owens of Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Anderson of Huntsville and Miss Martha Ellen Owens of Athens; one brother, Lester Owens of Ardmore, TN; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Toone, Mrs. John Andrews and Mrs. Charles Sowell, all of Athens; and two grandchildren.
