DIMMITT - Willie Sargent, 96, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Willie was born Jan. 7, 1912, in Clarkesville, to Marshall and Emma McCain. She lived in Plainview and Hart for many years and was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Henderson of Dimmitt; a son, Dero Sargent of Thornton, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Child Protective Services (CPS) c/o Jose Josselet, First United Bank, P.O. Box 929, Dimmitt, TX 79027.
