Dorothy Nell Cain McDaniel, 82, of Chipley, passed from this life on Friday, September 26, in Chipley. Mrs. McDaniel was born on July 19, 1926 in Graceville to Homer and Lillie Mae (Golden) Cain. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug McDaniel.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy and her husband Lamar Waymire of Chipley; two grandchildren: Amanda and husband Kyle Hudson of Westville and Karen Waymire of Chipley; two great grandchildren: Ashton and Loren Hudson of Westville; one brother, Norman and wife Margie Cain of Lynn Haven; two sisters: Evelyn Boyd of Dawson, Georgia, and Olene Dowell of Ames, Iowa; two sisters-in-law: Dean Creamer of Chipley and Louise Creamer of Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. John Howell and Rev. Tim Steele officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Brown Funeral Home, Highway 77, Chipley.
