George F. House was born in Otsego County, N.Y. (possibly Exeter Center), Feb. 11, 1823, and died at Olin, March 14, 1894, aged seventy-one years. In 1845 he married Elizabeth Denison. They came to Iowa in 1854, where they resided until the death of Mrs. House in March, 1890. George House was converted in early life and joined the Methodist Church and lived a consistent life. Being an old settler of Jones County he left a large circle of friends, in whose memory he will be greatly honored.

(1801 CT - 1869 IA), interred in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Jones Co, IA.
