The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth A. Humphrey will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday from the family residence, the services being conducted by Dr. Wright. Mrs. Humphrey was born at Zanesville, Ohio, in 1812, and was nearly eighty-four years of age. She was married in 1836, and with her husband settled in Stark county, Ohio. In 1853 she was left a widow with two sons and a daughter to support. The daughter died soon after, and the sons, John E. and Lyman U., were reared on a farm. Both sons enlisted in the army in the Autumn of 1861. In 1866, Mrs. Humphrey and her two sons moved to Missouri and in 1871 she followed them to this city, where they located. John E. Humphrey died here some fifteen or sixteen years ago. Mrs. Humphrey has made her home with her son Lyman U. Humphrey ever since the death of her son John.
