Mrs. Frances Medlin, widow of the late Mr. Newton Medlin, died eysterday morning about one o'clock at her home about four miles north of Monroe on the Morgan Mill road. Mrs. Medlin was a fine old lady, a member of the primitive Baptist church. One son, Mr. J. C. Medlin, and two daughters, Mrs. Latta Baucom and Mrs. Alonzo Griffin survive. Mr. Medlin died about a year ago. Funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the Medlin residence and interment was in the Union Grove church cemetery.
