Cecelia Vaughn Ceglinski,age 80, of Altoona died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Altoona Hospital, Altoona,PA.
She was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Altoona, the daughter of Norman Vaughn and Catherine Eva Lyle Youngstead. She was married to Elmer I. Ceglinski for 56 years. He died in April 1983.
Mrs. Ceglinski enjoyed reading, gardening, her family and traveling. She was a volunteer for Blair Senior Citizens and Blair Medical Associates.
Surviving are a son, James E. Poirrier of Altoona; a daughter, Patricia Capaz of Plant City, FL; a brother Donald Vaughn in Missouri; two sisters: Rosemary Swann of Hollidaysburg and Norma Beatty of Waterlee, IL; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Memorial Chapel by Rev. Edward Eckenrod. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
Friends will be recieved from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, PA.
