MRS. M'LEAN RITES TUESDAY

The funeral of Mrs. Malcolm McLean of Eastside, who died Saturday evening at her home, will be held at 9:00 o'clock Tuesday from St. Monica's Catholic church, with the Rev. Father J.M. Sheridan officiating. Interment will be at Sunset cemetery.

Mrs. McLean's death was the result of a heart attack. She passed away about 10:00 Saturday night.

She was 62 years of age and was born at Port Huron, Mich., in 1870. She had made her home at Eastside for the past 21 years.

She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Guy Bond and Mrs. D.H. Peterson of Portland and Mrs. Press [Preston] Watkins of Eastside. The daughters have arrived from Portland for the funeral. Two grandchildren survive.

The body is at Thuerwachter's Funeral home. The members of St. Monica's Altar society will meet at the Thuerwachter Funeral home at 7:30 o'clock tonight to recite the rosary. The body will lie in state this evening at the funeral home.

NOTE: Mother of Maydream (McLean) Bond Bernier, Marie Agnes (McLean) Watkins and Cathern (McLean) Peterson Hewitt. On December 23, 1955, Maydream Bernier and Marie Watkins were murdered in Eastide by Maydream's second husband, Leon A. Bernier.
