Robert Efford Marks, 76, Athens Rt. 8, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riddle's Chapel Methodist Church. Spry Funeral Home directed burial in the Athens Cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Marks are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Marks, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Downs [Martha Ann], Tanner, and Mrs. Gerald Gamble [Lenore], Athens; two sons, J. M. Marks and Horace Marks, both of Athens; a brother, Milton Marks, Athens; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
