Dies; Rites Set
This Afternoon
Services are to be held this afternoon for J. D. Magouirk, Fairax, who died Saturday at his residene. He was 79. He had been in failing health for the past year and had been seriously ill for the past six days.
Services will be held from the Fairfax Congregational Holiness church at 4:30, with the Rev. Alvin Crews officiating. Burial will be in Fairfax cemetry with Johnson and Blakely in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Magouirk had been a resident of Fairfax since 1917 and was a member of the Congregatinal Christian church of Langdale and the WOW of Fairfax.
Survivng are his daughter, Mrs. Arrie Walker; Fairfax; one son, J. E. of Macon, Ga.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. M. M. Mote, Thomaston, Ga.
