Died, at the family residence, 921 South First street, at 5:20 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Nov. 5, 1903, C. P. Vancil, aged 68 years. Mr. Vancil was born in Sangamon county, near Virden. He had resided in Springfield twenty-one years. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Drake, Chicago, Mrs. R. A. Lapham, Springfield; one son, Edward A. Vancil of New York.
