Mary Jane was actually born in Bedford, Tennessee to John Wesley Burks Sr and Mary Louisa "Patience" Martin Burks on 7 Apr 1845. Mary Louisa's Memorial #47427963. Mary Jane was my 2nd great grandmother on my mother's side of the Hankins family. Thank you to whomever finally got a picture of the grave marker. We are still trying to find her dad's death certificate and actual location of his burial site.
