Halifax - Daniel A. Barry, 70, of Halifax RD 1, died Sunday in Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.
He was a retired stone mason for Helwig and Co. contractors, Millersburg, and a member of the Fisherville and Halifax fire companies.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy M. Barry; three daughters, Mrs. Anna M. Williard of Millersburg RD 2, Mrs. Elsie M. Welcomer of Millersburg, and Mrs. Darlene L. Sostar of Dillsburg; four sons, Roy of Halifax RD 3, Carl E. & Ray R., both of Halifax RD 1, and Marlin E. of Wiconisco; a sister, Mrs. Susan Spangler of Dauphin RD; a brother, Raymond Barry of Millersburg RD; a step-brother, Lester Paul, of Millersburg RD 1; 23 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Hoover Funeral Home, Elizabethville, with the Rev. M. R. McCrary officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax RD 3.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
