Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, September 26, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens Mausoleum with military rites.
A native of Mt. Airy, N.C., he was a son of the late Early Richard and Victoria King Bray and had lived in Reidsville for most of his life. He was a former salesman for Lennox Industries in Greensboro, N.C., and most recently was the owner/operator of Studebaker's Antiques in Reidsville, N.C. A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he attended Lowe's United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest F. Bray and a sister, Patsy Bray Holder.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Velma Taylor Bray of the home; two daughters, Tammy B. Roth and husband, Eric of Greensboro, N.C. and Tarra B. Lambeth and husband, J.E.D. of Brown Summit, N.C.; sister, Judy H. Hicks and husband, Rick of McLeansville, N.C.; five step grandchildren.
