January 14, 1965 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Last Rites For J. W. DuBois Held Jan. 12 J. W. Dubois, Sr., 73, retired farmer, died Monday, January 11, in an Alexandria hospital following a short illness. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Montgomery with Rev. Roberts officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow; two sons, J. W. DuBois, Jr., of Montgomery and Joseph DuBois of Colfax; a daughter, Mrs. L. C. Allen of Montgomery; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Fredieu, Mrs. Tavie Thompson, and Mrs. Neely Roberts, all of Montgomery; three brothers, Willie, Walter, and Thomas DuBois, all of Montgomery; and seven grandchildren.
