Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 22, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service, with the Reverend Charles Kelly. Burial with military honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Martin was born in July 23, 1944, in Danville, Virginia, to Raleigh and Bertie Hundley Martin. He served in the U.S. Army in the Viet Nam War.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Irvin and Richard Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Agnes Franklin Martin, of Greensboro; sons, Daryle Wayne Martin, of Greensboro, Steve Leonard Martin, of Virginia, and Terry Gene Martin and wife, Wanda, of Greensboro; sisters, Ruth Bell Martin and Betty M. Jennings, both of Danville; brother, Bernice Martin, of Greensboro; one grandson, Aaron Tyler Martin.
