John J. Quinn Dead

Judge T.E. Haydon received a telegram from R.E. Queen, in San Francisco, announcing the death of J.J. Quinn in that city this morning, Mr. Quinn died of cancer.

He was a large stockholder in the California Syrup of Figs Company, and also kept a hardware store on Virginia Street. Several months ago he went to California for the benefit of his health. He was a member of the local lodge A.O.U.W. His remains will arrive here tomorrow morning and the funeral will take place Wednesday or Thursday.

Mr. Quinn was forty-five years of age and leaves a wife and several children.

QUINN-In San Francisco, January 20, 1902, J.J. Quinn, a native of Wareham, Mass., aged forty-nine years, four months.

The funeral will take place from A.O.U.W. Hall in Investment Building under the auspices of the A.O.U.W. of which deceased was Grand Master, at 2 o'clock, Thursday, January 23rd.
