Sarah Abigail Oxenreider was born in Chester, Morrow Co, Ohio, the 16th of August, 1846 but by 1860 she was living in warren County, Iowa, with he parents, Henry & Margaret (Everhart) Oxenreider. Sara Married David W. Cook on Christmas Day 1865, after he had survived the Civil War , and they made their home in the Lacona area of Warren County Iowa. They raised a Large family of 12 children. Later in life they moved to the Fort Dodge area, Webster Co, Iowa, died there. Quite a Few of their children also remained in the Webster County area, others remained in warren And Lucas Counties of Iowa.
