Henry Workman Sweat was my Dad. He passed away when I was 9 years old. I was "Daddy's Little Girl" and I miss him terribly. He used to call me nick names like sassyfrass (when I'd had a perm), rinky dink (not sure where that one came from) and snaggle puss or snaggle tooth (when I'd lose a tooth).

He was a native of Greenwood County, a son of the late Henry and Gennia Lollis Sweat.

He loved to fish and hunt. He loved watching the cartoon, "The Roadrunner". He was an employee of the Olympia Mill in Columbia, SC. The mill was in operation almost 100 years and closed its doors in 1996.

He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ware Shoals, SC.

For the last 12 years of his life, he resided in West Columbia, SC.

He died at the Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC on January 1, 1968 from polycystic kidney disease.
