Mrs. Ada Dresher, 79, died Wednesday afternoon at her home in Omega. She had sufferd a stroke on Monday. The body is at the Shaffer Funeral Home in Arcadia where friends may call until noon Friday when she will be removed to the Church of the Brethen to lie in state until time for the funeral at one p.m. Rev. W.D. Helsabeck will be incharge of the services. Mrs. Dresher was a member of the Omega church for many years, where she had been living alone since the death of her husband. Mrs. Dresher was born Nov 22, 1869, daughter of Ruetta and Catherine Hankley. She was married 56 years ago to George Dresher, who passed away three years ago last March. Most of her life was spent in northern Hamilton county. Surviving are two sons, LaRue and William Dresher, Indianapolis and the following daughters, Mrs. Lennie Holloway, of Carmel, Mrs. Denzil Rizer of Phoenix, Arizona, who is very ill and unable to come and Mrs. Ruth Oleva Rulon, east of Arcadia. Two brothers survive, John Hankley, Cicero, and Charles Hankley, of Omega and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Billhymer, of Elwood and Mrs. Leota Harbit, of Elwood, and five grandchildren.
