Funeral for Carl W. Hatcher, 61, of Bridgeport, Tex., was Nov. 13 in the Grantham Funeral Chapel with Rev. Whit Ozier of Lawton, cousin of the deceased, officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery.
Hatcher was born Dec. 6, 1917, in Milburn, the son of the late Robert M. and Virginia Hatcher. He attended school in Ryan and had lived there for many years before moving to Bridgeport. At the time of his death, he was employed by the H.T.C. Trucking Co.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Hatcher, Jr., of Greenville, Tex.
Pall bearers were Bob Givens, Wilson Hunt, Tommy Tyler, Jack Sutton, Ray Markham and Archie Bates.
