On Nov. 6, 1905, she married Ray Adams in Galesburg. They established their home in Plymouth, operating a restaurant and taxi service in the days when trains were the way to travel. Their services were appreciated and in demand for the many trains that went through Plymouth daily.
They later went into the grocery business and operated their store for 17 years. They farmed also.
Surviving Mrs. Adams are her husband and their two daughters, Ruby and Jewel. Still living are her three brothers Ross of California, Carl of Plymouth, and Hugh of McLean; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Swisegood of Plymouth and Mrs. Forest Weber of Atlanta, Illinois. Also surviving, one grand daughter, several neices, and nephews.
Rev. Richard Muelder, Methodist minister, officiated at the funeral and burial services. Burial was at Round Prairie Cemetery. Cookson Funeral Home was in charges of arrangements.
