Stella R. Lopez age, 69, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 19, 2008. Stella was born in 1939. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas. Stella worked for Gulton Industries retiring after 30 years of outstanding service. She enjoyed playing bingo, cross stitching, and puzzles. Stella loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Higinio and Gracia Lopez; brother, Max Lopez; and sister, Virginia Lopez. Stella is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Mills and husband, Charlie; grandchildren, Brandy Mills and husband, Jesse Gulas and Kathleen Alderete and husband, Pete; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Gulas, and Gabriel and Jovan Alderete; two brothers, Alfonzo Lopez and wife, Grace and Felipe Lopez; four sisters; Lucy Jaramillo and husband, Ambrosio, Sally Lopez and husband, Fermin, Amelia Hernandez and late husband, Daniel, and Erleen Franco, and husband, Bobby. All services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church beginning with a visitation on Tuesday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Los Lentes Cemetery.
