She was the daughter of the late Harvey Beamer and the late Rebecca (Warren) Beamer.
Mrs. Boone was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Abbottstown and was employed, before her retirement, as a sewer in area shoe factories and at My Lisa Sewing Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her flowers, and her family pets. She especially enjoyed Christmas and a little snowfall.
She was the wife of Ora W. Boone, to whom she was married 68 years, and surviving in addition to him, are six daughters, Shelby J. Secrist of Chambersburg, Peggy J. Boone of Abbottstown, Frances E. Boone of Abbottstown, Linda K. Pittinger of Abbottstown, Connie E. Boyd of Littlestown, and Gail L. Funk of New Oxford; two sons, Daniel W. Boone of New Oxford and Randy W. Boone of East Meadow, NY; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
