Mrs. James Berry A very old resident of Wolfe island passed away at the home of her son, Richard Berry on Wednesday morning last in the person of Alice Montgomery, wife of the late James Berry, following an illness of several weeks. She was eighty-two years of age and until her illness had been very active. Mrs. Berry was a life-long resident of Wolfe Island. The funeral was held on Friday from her son’s home to Christ Church Cemetery. The service was conducted by Rev. James Dawe. Mrs. Berry is survived by one son, Richard of Wolfe Island; four grandchildren of Oshawa; one brother, Frank Montgomery of Wolfe Island; six sisters, Edith and Minnie of Wolfe Island; Bett, Mattie and Mrs. Patterson of Watertown, N.Y.; Mrs. Brooks of Marshal, Michigan.
