She was born at Brick House Plantation, Edisto Island, SC, died in Charleston and never lived at Beaufort, SC. She was married, like her sisters at Trinity Episcopal Church on Edisto Island. Her marriage date was Sept. 26, 1923 and was not in Beaufort, as suggested by someone who left a memorial. She married Harry Colcok Hutson, and their son, Harry, Jr., just celebrated his 90th birthday, in Chas, on June 1, 2015.
