ROSETTA BRETCHES DIES LAST NIGHT
Funeral Services To Be Held On Saturday
Mrs. Rosetta Bretches, 65, 1024 Coffeyville Avenue, died at 10:26 p.m., Thursday, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. She suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital Wednesday.
Rosetta Kirkendall was born on July 13, 1885, in Havana, the daughter of William and Rebecca Kirkendall. She married on January 4, 1906, to Richard Bretches and he survives at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bretches lived in Graden City, Missouri, for as short while but have lived in Independence since Mr. Bretches is a retired cement Plant Employee.
Mrs. Bretches suffered a heart attack in February of 1949, and her health had not been good since. She was a member of the Church Of God.
Besides her husband, she is survived by these children: Mrs. Treva D. Robinson, city; Mrsd. Ethel Eichorn, Towanda; Wilmwe of Ontario, California and Edgar of St. Louis, Missouri. Ten grandchildren survive as do these sisters and one brother: Earl Kirkendall in Illinois; Mrs. Clara Eggleston, Parker, South Dakota; Mrs. Mary Eirns, Hutchinson; Mrs. Anna Copeland, El Dorado; Mrs. Leona Reed, Caney, and Mrs. Olive Harmon, also of Caney.
She was proceed in death by one son, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Rodrick Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev. R. C. Benz, pastor of the Church Of God. officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

ROSETTA BRETCHES DIES LAST NIGHT
Funeral Services To Be Held On Saturday
Mrs. Rosetta Bretches, 65, 1024 Coffeyville Avenue, died at 10:26 p.m., Thursday, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. She suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital Wednesday.
Rosetta Kirkendall was born on July 13, 1885, in Havana, the daughter of William and Rebecca Kirkendall. She married on January 4, 1906, to Richard Bretches and he survives at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bretches lived in Graden City, Missouri, for as short while but have lived in Independence since Mr. Bretches is a retired cement Plant Employee.
Mrs. Bretches suffered a heart attack in February of 1949, and her health had not been good since. She was a member of the Church Of God.
Besides her husband, she is survived by these children: Mrs. Treva D. Robinson, city; Mrsd. Ethel Eichorn, Towanda; Wilmwe of Ontario, California and Edgar of St. Louis, Missouri. Ten grandchildren survive as do these sisters and one brother: Earl Kirkendall in Illinois; Mrs. Clara Eggleston, Parker, South Dakota; Mrs. Mary Eirns, Hutchinson; Mrs. Anna Copeland, El Dorado; Mrs. Leona Reed, Caney, and Mrs. Olive Harmon, also of Caney.
She was proceed in death by one son, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Rodrick Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev. R. C. Benz, pastor of the Church Of God. officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
