MAXWELL JAMES SIMMONS MAXWELL (Age 83) On Saturday, August 30, 2008 after an illness of three years. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Virginia B. Maxwell; his son, James S. Maxwell, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Virginia Caputo of Lampeter, PA. James was a pilot in the Army Air Force in World War II. He earned a degree in mathematics at Sul Ross College and worked in computers for the military and for private companies as a computer systems analyst. He and his wife have been residents of Springfield, VA for forty-six years. Services wil be held at the Arlington Cemetery Columbarium on Thursday, September 18 at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Demaine Funeral Home, 703-549-0074. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the VFW Post 7327, 8350 F. Terminal Rd., Lorton, VA 22079.
