A Pulaski County native, she was born June 15, 1909, daughter of the late William and Isabelle Dunsmore Wilson. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Science Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Donald L., Charles V., and Roger Calder, all of Somerset; three daughters, Chestine Wall, Yosemite, and Irene Powers and JoAnn Calder, both of Science Hill; a sister, Mary Smith, Decatur, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Calder, whom she married in February 1928, and who died September 14, 1992; a brother, Chester Wilson; four sisters, Delphia Abbott, Martha Owens, Lola Abbott Allen, and Minnie Shadoan; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bullock and Harold Carter officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
