The funeral for Mildred A. Eastlee will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church near Hayfield, with the Rev. Darby Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in West St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Eastlee, 91, died Wednesday (Sept. 17, 2008) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Mildred Adeline Bungum was born March 31, 1917, in Mower County. She married Hilman Eastlee on March 18, 1938, at Evanger Lutheran Church. Mrs. Eastlee was a farm wife and longtime member of West St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Al (Aloma) of Hayfield; two daughters, Pat (Denny) Twait of Kasilof, Alaska, and Bev (Chuck) Enderson of Deephaven, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 25, 1991, and two infant sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield, and an hour before the service Saturday at the church.
