Pat was born in Bogie, Okla., to the late William Cantrell and Ocie Fleming Cantrell. At an early age, her family moved to Texas and she attended elementary school in Mosheim. Her family then moved to Waco where she graduated from high school. She met Billy J. Copeland and they eloped to El Paso on Aug. 14, 1954. She and Billy traveled the world together and raised five children. Pat worked as a concession manager at the Centex Zoo in Waco for eight years. She always had a zest for life and loved traveling to Bossier, La.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; and one sister.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Ronnie Rossiaky, Gail Copeland Thompson and husband, Mark and Jeri Copeland Ochoa and husband, Lance; sons, Danny Copeland and Bill Copeland; sisters, Verlene Obermeir, Geraldine Jones, Joyce Pack and Verl Crabb.
