Son of John Flanagan (1861–) and Margaret J Duffy (1863–), Worked for Mr. John Boone Martin at his house moving business in Houston, Texas. According to the Martin family they were very close. When he died Mrs. Martin signed his death certificate and Mr. John Boone Martin buried "Shorty" with their young children buried at Glendale in the family plot. Mr. and Mrs Boone Martin are buried elsewhere.
