Services for Reva Bennett, 92, who died at the Indianola Westview Care Center, where she had been a resident for the past eight years, was held at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola, IA, of which she was a member. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
She was born in Lewis Co., WV, daughter of the late Nick P. and Denna M. Squires Winemiller. On April 11, 1936, she married Benson A. Bennett, also of Weston, WV, who preceded her in death 1984. Two sisters, Vivian Winemiller Gregoire Rollins and Emma Zoe Winemiller Stalker preceded her death, in 1975 and 2006 respectively.
She retired in 1977 from B.F. Goodrich Co., Akron, OH, with 36 years service. With her husband, she relocated to Iowa in 1980. In 1981, she was employed by the Iowa Department of Commerce, Des Moines, IA, from where she retired in 1996.
