Ms. Hale had worked for Harrah's Prairie Band Casino near Mayetta and most recently for Golden Eagle Casino west of Horton. She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include three sisters, Joraine Tuckwin and Linda Hale, both of Horton, and Julie Deener, McHenry, Illinois; and two brothers, L.E. Hale Jr., Mayetta, and Alan Hale, Rossville. A sister, Cecelia J. Hale, preceded her in death.
Traditional Indian Drum services were held November 26 at the Danceground building west of Mayetta on 150th road between K and L roads. Burial was held November 27 a the Danceground Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton was in charge of arrangements.
