Miss Susan Ann Bixler was wed to Bartlett Yancy Hart on 06 Nov 1851, in Shelby County, Illinois. They moved to Collins County, Texas in about 1854 and the family can be seen in the 1860 Federal Census with three children.

The father's Will was probated in 1869 where he is said to be deceased and his Estate was settled. Susan Ann Hart is remarried and becomes Susan Ann Nunley and in the 1870 U. S. Federal Census her daughter, Fannie Elizabeth Hart is seen with her surname changed to, Nunley.
