Mrs. J. R. McLemore, age 79, of Athens Route 5, died at her late residence on Tuesday, January 18.
Brother E. F. Bullington will officiate today (Thursday) 11 a.m. from Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery, Spry in charge.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, A. B. McLemore of Oak Ridge, Fred McLemore of Athens Route 5, and Carlos McLemore of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Dudley of Detroit and Mrs. Louis Elledge, Tuscaloosa; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Herbert McLemore, who died October 18, 1918 in England.
