Mr. Bailey was born in Cailfornia and moved to Klamath County in 1919. He ranched near Merrill until the family retired in 1946 and moved to Klamath Falls. Mr. Bailey was an enthusiastic gardener until shortly before his death.
He suffered a stroke in 1961 and a subsequent one last July. He had been a patient at Washburn Manor for 10 months. His wife, Abigail, died in 1966.
Surviving are two sons, William C. Bailer Jr., 2244 Vine St., this city and Donald, Portland; also two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
