Mr. Taylor was born in West Long Branch, a son of the late Tabor C. and Elizabeth Taylor. A resident here the past 60 years, he owned and operated his own painting and paperhanging business for 40 years. He formerly operated the Taylor Arcade on Broad st. here. Mr. Taylor was an exempt member of Engine, Truck and Hose Co. No. 1 of this place.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the late residence, with Rev. Clifford Bearmore, pastor of Eatontown Methodist church, officiating. Burial under the direction of the Braun funeral home was in Greenlawn cemetery, West Long Branch.
