Married Frederick T. Hartenstein May 23, 1927. She was a homemaker, and with her husband, she farmed and bred dogs in Dickinson Co. He died April 1979. Member of Emmanual Church in Abilene and Senior Centers in Soloman and Abilene. Survivors include daughter Frances Burdick, Salina; sons Gene of Abilene; Bob of Manhatten; Wilbur of Cotton, Oregon; brothers, Robert Mastin of Durgano, Colo; Loren Mastis of Beaumont, Tex; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Emmanual Church, Abilene on Sept. 21. Burial, private inurnment, Mt. Hope Cemetary.
